It’s a promise to help make IU a place where people of all backgrounds feel safe and welcomed.
It’s time to stand up
I pledge to:
- Educate myself and others about discrimination, harassment, hate, retaliation and sexual misconduct.
- Identify such incidents when I see or experience them.
- Report incidents so that my campus and community can respond and prevent future issues.
- Create an environment on my campus where everyone is respected, safe, and valued.
- Call 911 in an emergency situation—even if drugs or alcohol are involved.
